Dr. Owen Fortney is an associate doctor for BACK to Health Clinic. He originally graduated from Pacific university where he earned his Bachelor’s of science in Biology and would later attend Logan University where he received his Doctor of Chiropractic degree, and his Master’s in Sports Science and Rehabilitation. Dr. Fortney is also a Certified Medical Examiner for the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration (FMCSA) and provides medical examination for Commercial Drivers.
Dr. Fortney focuses his practice on wellness, preventive care, strengthening and treating minor trauma. Dr. Fortney was an All-State athlete and a power lifter through his high school and college years and wants to help provide his knowledge and experience to help others reach their true potential.
Dr. Fortney is originally from Scappoose, Oregon, he also spent a few years in Forest Grove, Oregon, and St. Louis, Missouri. Outside of Chiropractic care Dr. Fortney enjoys spending time with his fiancée, going to the gym and watching sports.
