Dr. Jeff Baker was born in Michigan. He moved to Oregon as a young boy, living in the Eugene and Bend areas. He graduated from University of Western States in Portland in 1989. He worked in Salem after graduation for a year and a half as an associate doctor for a Chiropractor and for a Medical Doctor. In 1991, Dr. Baker started private practice which in just over two decades has become the well-known and well-liked chiropractic, rehab and massage business that BACK to Health Clinic is today. In 2000, he furthered his education by focusing on advanced training for automobile crash injuries through the Spine Research Institute of San Diego where he received a Master’s in Whiplash Traumatology and a Forensics Certification in Motor Vehicle Crash Injuries. Dr. Baker remains one of the leading experts in crash investigations, and regularly serves as an expert witness in crash injury trials. He has also lectured to provide continuing education to trial lawyers and judges on the topic of automobile injuries.
Dr. Baker is active with his church. He cherishes family and devotes as much time as possible to his wife, 3 daughters, and 3 grandsons. He particularly enjoys camping, bow hunting, and the great outdoors in general. He collects handmade glass marbles from the 1850s and has an extensive antique marble collection. He also has a love for the automobile, and enjoys cars and car events.
Dr. Cressie Kearns was a 2005 Doctor of Chiropractic graduate of Logan College of Chiropractic near St. Louis, Missouri. At Logan she excelled in achieving her Bachelor of Science in Human Biology, the understanding, application, and proficiency of various adjusting arts by earning the Diversified Technique Award. She served at the college as both a teaching assistant and clinician’s assistant. Both Positions inspired her, professionally and personally.
Dr. Kearns practiced as a treating physician for 5 years in an active North Carolina practice prior to joining the BACK to Health Clinic staff in 2011. She enjoys treating BACK to Health Clinic patients of all ages, from infants to the elderly. She uses her experiences and gentle approach to focus her care to find the underlying cause of the problem, healing one body at a time.
She enjoys spending time with her husband, 10 nieces and nephews, family, friends, and her two dogs. She particularly enjoys watching movies, playing sports, and finding new restaurants.
Dr. Jordan Sajovic grew up in Canby, Oregon. He received a Bachelor’s degree in biology from the Brigham Young University in Idaho in 2008. He received his Doctorate of Chiropractic and Masters in Exercise and Sports Science through the University of Western States in Portland, OR in 2011. He has regularly provided medical and chiropractic support at various sporting events. Through further education and his experience in medical treatment for athletes Dr. Sajovic has been honored the distinction of Certified Chiropractic Sports Physician® (CCSP®). He is also passionate about nutrition, optimal health, and wellbeing.
He is an active member of his church, and has been involved in Missionary work to Australia. He enjoys and active lifestyle and time spent with his wife and two young boys. His particular interests include golfing, snowboarding, backpacking, and keeping up with all sports related news.
