Dr. Jeff Baker was born in Michigan. He moved to Oregon as a young boy, living in the Eugene & Bend areas. He graduated from University of Western States in 1989. He worked in Salem after graduation for a year and a half as an associate doctor for a Chiropractor and for a Medical Doctor. In 1991, Dr. Baker started private practice which in just over two decades has become the well-known and well-liked chiropractic, rehab and massage business that BACK to Health Clinic is today. In 2000, he furthered his education by focusing on advanced training for automobile crash injuries through the Spine Research Institute of San Diego where he received a Master’s in Whiplash Traumatology and a Forensics Certification in Motor Vehicle Crash Injuries. Dr. Baker remains one of the leading experts in crash investigations, and regularly serves as an expert witness in crash injury trials. He has also lectured to provide continuing education to trial lawyers and judges on the topic of automobile injuries.
Dr. Baker is active with his church. He cherishes family and devotes as much time as possible to his wife, 3 daughters, and 3 grandsons. He particularly enjoys camping, bow hunting, and the great outdoors in general. He collects handmade glass marbles from the 1850s and has an extensive antique marble collection. He also has a love for the automobile, and enjoys cars and car events.
Dr. Jordan Sajovic grew up in Canby, Oregon. He received a Bachelor’s degree in biology from the Brigham Young University in Idaho in 2008. He received his Doctorate of Chiropractic and Masters in Exercise and Sports Science through the University of Western States in Portland, OR in 2011. He has regularly provided medical and chiropractic support at various sporting events. Through further education and his experience in medical treatment for athletes, Dr. Sajovic has been honored the distinction of Certified Chiropractic Sports Physician® (CCSP®). He is also passionate about nutrition, soft tissue treatments and chiropractic prenatal care.
He is an active member of his church, and has been involved in missionary work to Australia. He enjoys an active lifestyle and time spent with his wife, two boys and his little girl. His particular interests include golfing, snowboarding, backpacking, and keeping up with all sports related news.
Dr. Cody Leder was raised in Woodburn, OR. Being Oregon raised has attributed to his enjoyment of the outdoors including camping, hiking, fishing, and hunting. He attended Brigham Young University-Idaho where he obtained his Bachelor’s degree in Health Science. He then graduated from the University of Western States in 2015 where he was awarded an additional Bachelor’s degree in Human Anatomy and a Doctorate of Chiropractic. He and his wife, Cherie, have 2 sons and 2 daughters. They are also expecting a baby boy in February 2018. He performed missionary service for his church in Upstate New York and has traveled to Peru to give chiropractic services to the underprivileged.
Dr. Leder joined the BACK to Health Clinic Staff in 2016 as a Chiropractic Physician and has the most current and up to date knowledge. Dr. Jeffers is from Taos, New Mexico and has lived in Oregon since 2005. She was a Primary Care Provider in a car crash and work injury clinic prior to joining our team and holds advanced certifications in Whiplash Injury Biomechanics and Traumatology from the Spine Research Institute. She has successfully treated hundreds of patients involved in car crashes and work related injuries. Dr. Jeffers is also a Nationally certified Medical Examiner. She lives in Salem, OR with her husband Kevin, and daughter Emma.
